Happy Mother's Day. I hope it was a beautiful day for you. We were able to spend it with our son and daughter-in-law. Denver did a great job of cooking for Caitlin and I. Thanks.

Below is special request to help the family we have helped in the past.
There is a 4 year old girl from Essexville who has been undergoing cancer treatment for nearly a year. She was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a blood and bone marrow cancer, in early April 2022, and all her treatments have been down in Ann Arbor. Every day is a fight against the cancer. And her family has been struggling to make ends meet while attending to their daughter’s needs. She continues to fight each day. The family lost their business and home in a fire in Florida. They came up to Michigan and began a business but lost it due to COVID. It was then that their daughter was diagnosed with cancer.
For over a year now, her parents have spent countless hours traveling to and from Ann Arbor, putting tens of thousands of miles on their vehicle. While in treatment, her parents have struggled to make ends meet as their attention has been focused on getting their daughter through treatment. After connecting with Cancer Services, the mother was finally able to return to working part time while the father continues to care for their daughter while mom is working. With the help of Material Mart’s generous customers, we are looking to raise enough funds to cover their rent for several months. Their monthly rent is $560.00 per month and we are hoping to raise enough funds to cover their rent for a year If you feel led to donate, bring your contribution to Material Mart. If you have any questions call Leslie at Material Mart, 989 835-8761.
Thank you in advance for your generosity! Have a blessed and take time for quilting every day.
