Good Morning Quilters Everywhere, I am very much enjoying the beautiful snowfall we had this weekend. And yet I hope everyone has been safe on the snow packed roads and sidewalks. Our beginner quilt class completed their projects on Saturday. They all did a great job. Congrats. Thanks to Marguerite for her leadership and expertise. Be sure and checkout the pictures of the class with their projects in this newsletter and on FaceBook. Happy Valentine's Day. The upcoming EQ8 class is "Disappearing Blocks." The class is on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 10AM to 1PM. Bring your computer with a working copy of EQ8, power cord, external mouse (with battery), and especially your imagination. This Week: Monday: FaceBook Live We have a couple new classes scheduled. Moon Dance Revival is a quilt to make. It is not in the store yet, but will be soon. We'll let you know. The Tamarack Jacket class coming at the end of March. Come see the jacket in the store. Remember the Paradise kit is available. Come see the project and pick up a kit. The "ice pack cover" workshop has been moved to March 22, from 10am until 3pm, we are going to have a workshop, led by Linda Radek, to make ice pack covers for men and women who have had a breast biopsy. All you need to bring is your sewing machine and supplies and some dark thread. If you want to bring a lunch that would be okay. Material Mart will allow us to use the frig and microwave. All fabric is provided. There is no cost to you. The people who receive these really appreciate them. It shows someone cares. This is a great thing to do and doing it together makes it just that much more meaningful. Have a Blessed Week and Take Time for Quilting Every Day Leslie and Staff |
