I don't know about you but I think this heat has been a bit much. I'm ready for some rain and a little cooler weather. I waited all winter to get outside in the warmer weather and now I think it's too hot to be outside. And yes, I'm whining. We take what we get and try to be content.
This week at the store: Tuesday - "Open Sew" Thursday - "Random Thursday" 6pm to 8pm Friday - "Lock-In" As a reminder, we are having "Breakfast for Supper." We are full and there is a waiting list. Join us some time this week. We love to sit and chat and even get some projects done.
I was able to get the "Wool Tree Class" changed to Sept. 28. For those who really wanted to come but were not able to, I hope this date works for all of you. It is a "Wool Tree." If you cannot use wool you might be able to use flannel. Linda Boman will be the teacher. If you haven't seen the tree, stop in and take a look. I do not have the exact price yet so stay tuned.
We are signing people up for classes. I encourage you to sign up as soon as possible. It helps us plan for what we need and you to set time aside.
Remember "Row by Row" is up and going. We are having fun visiting with friends new and old.
The Advanced Free Motion Class is Aug. 6, 7 & 8. It's a challenging class but will be very fun. You must have taken the beginning Free Motion class to take this class.
Do not forget the "Men's Retreat."
Sleep At Home Retreat is the first weekend of August. Be sure to sign up.
We will have a "Bag Class" beginning August 18. (Please note the change. Ed mistakenly put the wrong date in last week.) See below for a picture of the bag. So fun!!. Also, we have the bag in the store so stop in and take a look.
Marguerite Schrader's thread painting class is August 25 from 10am to 4pm.
During the summer, unless we having an event on Thursday evenings, we are going to close at 6pm.
Have a blessed week and make time for quilting every day.
