Keri Schneider was born in Iowa though she grew up mostly in Tucson, Arizona. She received her Bachelor of Fine Art degree at the University of Arizona.
She worked as a graphic designer. She has been awarded three Louie Awards in the stationary industry for her greeting card designs. She continues to work as a licensed artist for both the stationery and fabric/sewing industries. To date she has designed over 10 fabric collections. Her designs are bright in color and full of whimsy.
She also works as a fine artist. Her artwork includes portrait and figurative paintings, landscape watercolor paintings and tapestry weavings. She is part of a long line of quilters in her family. Her quilts have become an integral part of her figurative story telling in her paintings, while her watercolor paintings and tapestries portray the color and beauty of the desert land she calls home.
